Habakkuk complained to God wondering why He does
not listen when Habakkuk calls to God.
When have you had a specific prayer to God that never seemed to be
answered?
2.
When you have had unanswered prayer, how have
you responded to God?
3.
When God responded to Habakkuk’s complaint, He
gave Habakkuk a revelation rather than an explanation. What do you think the difference is?
4.
Though Habakkuk complained and bickered with
God, he never turned away from Him. When
have you felt you might be ‘bickering’ with God? How did it turn out?
5.
Habakkuk wonders just how a god and holy God can
allow bad or even evil things to happen.
How would you respond to someone who asks you this very question?
6.
When you look at those around you (and
especially those you know) and you know they are doomed to an eternal hell
because they do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ as the Lord and
Savior of their lives, what do you do about that?
7.
What holds you back from boldly proclaiming the
gospel to those who are far from God?
